FedEx and service some where
Would you believe FedEx who has been to my house three time in this past month could not find my house again. To add insult to injury instead of calling to get directions they sent me a post card. So by now they have had this package for at least since before Christmas.
So as I was saying I get this card, on Saturday and call the local FedEx office which is a 3 hour drive from my house ( Jonesburo) and get a lady on the phone who says of we can redeliver it on Wednesday just tell us how to get here. I swear I could have feel on the floor, "Well I said, you have had 2 different drivers out here, just this month for a total of 2 drop offs one pick up. One guy was a colored man (My choice of words pissed her off, little does she know that I am a colored person), and a white guy ( that part does not piss her off, lol). Any way I continue to explain to her that either they did not want to deliver because of the flag out side my door (confederate flag, with chief Joseph on it) and because we live in a all white community or because we are in the middle of no where and he was just to lazy to make the delivery before the holidays...In other words he did not want to work late. Well I can tell you that this did not go over well, as she presided to tell me what she could not and would not do and how there was just no way in hell I was getting this box before Wednesday.
Then she told me how I had offended her by using the term colored man...I swear I could have rolled my eyes back into my head...This one goes into my file of ridicules titles. How does she know where this guys family is from or that he is African American..hummmm Maybe she is making a derogatory term her self. My Fathers Dad is a Black French Man, that does not make me a African American, it makes me part black....So I told her that she and her company fricken offended me by not delivering this package in a timely manner. Again I wonder why she was not offended by there term white man...It seem to me people like this create there own problems by picking humanity apart and name every little facet of it... Anyway by this time she had hung up...
So I called the 1-800 FexEx number and explained what was going on ..He said he was going to call the station her in Arkansas and fix this...But after 10 minutes of waiting for him the line went dead...Dropped my call, hmmmmm
So I call again got a different guy..She says once again rolling her eyes....He precedes to tell me of why and how I could not have talked to any one because no one works on Saturday as he continues talk on Saturday.
I told him look I really don't have time for this, please add to you file my cell number so that the last person I spoke with can get back to me....Uggggh...And that is all that happened....I will call Tuesday and see if I can fix this mess and I will let all of you know then....But if you are using FedEx and you are expecting good customer service you may want to reconsider and maybe send your package through the U.S. Postal Service...We all know what to expect from them and almost all of the time they are cheaper and they always can find the address thanks to RFD ( Rural Free Delivery).
